The following hymns are offered as suggestions from the musicians of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church for use during a funeral. Most of them may be found in the current Breaking Bread, (found in the church pews). We encourage you to select four pieces for the funeral Mass of your loved one. If, for whatever reason, you decide not to choose any (or only some of the four hymns), Nancy Wright, our accompanist and Millie Pierce, who usually sings at the funeral Masses, will be glad to do that for you. If there is music you’d like done, not found on this list, please share the names of those pieces. Nancy and Millie will do their best to accommodate. It is NOT essential that you select music from the “special seasons” lists, during those seasons.
(The music listed here has been approved by both priests.)
